What Caused The Revolutionary War?
The Revolutionary War was caused by many things. Such as the Stamp Act, Sugar Act, and the Townsend Acts. The American Colonist had become very angry with their homeland over many decades. This wasn't the only thing they were angry with but they were also angry with the British taxation programs. The american Colonist also believed that the acts of Parliament were repeatedly violating their rights as British citizens. Then the Sons of Liberty came together. In Boston 1765, a group of shopkeepers and artisans called themselves The Loyal Nine. They began to prepare for agitation against the Stamp Act. As the group began to grow, the name of the group went from The Loyal Nine to The Sons of Liberty. This group grew in a huge portion of size.
